AISI Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) Stainless Steel Pipes and Tubes

Electric resistance welded (ERW) stainless steel pipes are produced by roll-forming flat stainless steel strip and joining the longitudinal edges using electric welding (TIG, plasma, or high-frequency welding) without filler material. Designations according to the AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) system define the alloy grade composition.
