Bushings and Hex Bushings

A hex bushing is a type of threaded fitting used for assembling piping systems. Visually, the device resembles a nut or sleeve equipped with male threads. On one end, the bushing has male threads that screw into a larger pipe section. For a smaller pipe section, the female threads on the opposite end of the bushing are used.
